We’ve had some crazy weather here in Australia - a huge dry spell in South Australia and Western Victoria, unprecedented cyclonic activity and heavy rainfalls in parts of QLD. Meanwhile, our NZ Mobbler Katie McCabe had the aircon on one day and the fire on the next. We can’t keep up!
It’s been another big month of Mobble updates, touring and case studies. So let’s get into it:
We’ve introduced a Financial Year filter to make your reporting even simpler. We’ll auto-detect your financial year (AUS’s is different to NZ for example), and with just one click, Mobble will generate the report for you.
This is available on the web version of the app, under REPORTS.
We’re hosting a free lunchtime webinar on Thursday! Register here and join us at 1pm AEDT/3pm NZDT on Zoom. Can’t make the live session? No worries - we’ll send you the recording.
We’ll be doing a full demonstration, introducing new features and will leave plenty of time for your questions.
This month’s case study interviews Tolaga Bay, NZ farmer, Henry Hindmarsh. He loves Mobble’s farm map, the ability to provide contractors accurate location markers, stress-free audits and seamless teamwork. Read the interview in full here.
Recording rainfall across a farming property is one of the most critical data points for farm management. We’ve done a round up of some of the best rain gauge software out there. From Google Sheets to the humble notebook, Mobble to Farmbot, these are what farmers are using on their properties. Read the article here.
Mobble works best when your whole team is on board. If you’ve been thinking about adding more users, we’re offering a free upgrade for the duration of your existing subscription.
Simply email hello@mobble.io by midnight on March 31 and we'll get you all set up.
My brother Todd has just wrapped up a great week clocking up thousands of kilometres in QLD, chatting with Mobblers and new faces as he toured cattle station country. This could not have been possible without the generous support of some long standing Mobblers including Iain and Anneli Day, John Baker, Tom Brodie and Natalie Engel. He missed out on visiting Winton due to some inclement weather, but it’s great to see the area getting some game changing rain.
Onwards and upwards,
Jock
