With Jock Lawrence
We’d be lying if we didn’t say last month was a little mad. Our team has grown, new features to help with grazing management have been released, explored how maps could be used in Mobble and caught up for some team goal setting in regional Vic.
One of the most commonly requested features from our Mobble farmers (Mobblers) was an improved grazing management feature that shows days grazed and days rested on a paddock. Last month we released that feature giving farmers the ability to make better grazing decisions on the fly.
The days grazed and days rested feature has added to the Mobble offering for simple grazing management. You can see how else we can help you with paddock and grazing management here.
Other recent app updates include:
A massive welcome to our newest team members Lucy Sherwood and James Turner. James Turner is from a farm near Springhill and joins us as our new Development Mobbler. He brings a wealth of knowledge from the world of software development, working the entire stack of the Mobble app, along with bringing his farming expertise.
Lucy Sherwood is our new head of Marketing and Communications. Lucy grew up in Wycheproof, rural Victoria and has worked in the marketing space for more than seven years. Lucy, along with many other things, will help us reinvent how we make quality and valuable content for our farmers.
You can see more on our team page here.
Field days are upon us, with a visit down to Tassie for AgFest a few days ago. You can see here which field days are coming up and which ones Mobble will be attending.
In the world of software development, we’ve got a few things in the works. An offline management tool that will help farmers have all the most up to date information while offline out in the paddock. We are also working on Mobble maps, a simple farm mapping tool that will be available online and offline out in the paddock - we can’t wait to show you!
Onwards & upwards,
Jock Lawrence (Chief Mobbler)
