We can’t quite believe it either, but here’s November’s Mobble News! As we charge towards the end of 2022, have a read about what we’ve been up to this month - from our big WA tour, to feature improvements and an exciting new job opportunity at Mobble.
Join Mobble in making farmers’ lives easier and more successful from your home office. We’re on the lookout for a passionate Farmer Success Manager who loves customer support and is keen to manage and assist our legendary Mobble farmers (aka. Mobblers). From onboarding new farmers, creating relationships and gathering farmer feedback, this role is perfect for someone looking to work remotely and keep it flexible. If you know someone who ‘gets’ farmers, loves a chat and is keen to work part-time in the Ag industry, feel free to send this on to them!
We were in Western Australia last month catching up with Mobblers from York to Mount Barker and a few places in between. We loved the chance to chat face to face and talk all things Mobble. Swinging through Perth we caught up with the Agworld team at their HQ to chat about our data integration. From there, we attended the Anderson Ram Sale near Kojonup and then across to Gnowangerup for a Nutrien hosted pre-harvest event, stopping for more than a few cuppas at some WA Mobblers’ farms on the way. Always great to hit the road and chat with Mobblers about how we can continue to improve our product and support them.
Good news! We've updated some of our filters to help make access to data quick and easy in the mobile app. Have a play around in the Casualties, Sales, Natural Increase and Purchases summaries. You'll see that you can now filter by year, livestock type, ages + more.
Got some ideas about how we can improve Mobble? Let us know! Email hello@mobble.io or post in the Mobble Farmer Facebook group.
We’re racing towards 1m of rain at Mobble HQ near Avenel, Victoria. 319mm in October alone. Over the last couple of months we’ve spoken to more than a few Mobblers who’ve been affected by the rain and we know the challenges these big rains can bring with damage to infrastructure, livestock management, animal health issues and crop loss/downgrades. We hope our eastern Aus farmers are fairing alright given the hand they’ve been dealt, and for those who have sustained the worst of it, we hope your recovery is swift.
We are hard at it in product land! We've got some massive improvements in the works for our mobile app - improving the user experience, offline functionality and creating heaps of small but mighty feature improvements throughout the app to make farmers’ lives even easier. It’s a bit of ‘spring cleaning’ that we're really excited about. We’ve also been working on the ability to Open Gates in Mobble, and let livestock flow between those paddocks - a simple feature with lots of complexity, and we’re feeling confident we are on the right path here.
Onwards & upwards,
Jock Lawrence
