We’re still on a high after our in-person Mobble Bonanza last week. We all met up in Melbourne (or Mobbleourne?) for a day of team planning and T-Rexes. More on that below.
As the rain fell on much of the eastern seaboard of Australia, Mobble recorded its biggest day of activity ever in the app in July. Much of this was a flurry of people adding rain data to their account. What’s the rainfall been like where you are?
The Mobble team is an entirely remote group. From Thallon, QLD to Tokyo, from Tassie to New Zealand, from inner-city Melbourne to Mangoplah, NSW, we’re physically apart for most of the year. Twice annually we get together for the Mobble Bonanza. This time we met up in Melbourne for a day of team-building, goal setting, and interrogating how we can make farmers' lives easier and more successful with Mobble.
But it wasn’t all work - we spent the afternoon socialising at the Melbourne Museum and meeting the 66-million-year-old T-Rex fossil, Victoria, we ate some great food at the local watering hole, and we partook in a pub trivia night (and came third!).
It’s so important for us to do these bi-yearly catch ups - they are immensely rewarding and brings the team closer together.
We’ve just released a big update to the way you can view and map your farm. On the web app, you can now choose from three different satellite imagery providers. This means you can select the most recent satellite imagery for your farm. Jump onto Mobble on your browser here now to have a play! Let us know your feedback on the satellite imagery via hello@mobble.io
Live Property Chat is now live on the web app. Perfect for real-time communication between your farming team - whether it’s an injured animal that needs help, or a freshly baked cake that needs eating, get your message across instantly.
Available on web and mobile.
We were stoked when we saw this piece on Farm Tender, with Mobbler Dwain Duxson explaining how a phone call with Mobble Customer Success superstar, Amie Lange got ‘on the front foot, asking if the customer has an issue so they can keep improving their product’. Dwain continued,‘this is such a breath of fresh air and is something we can all learn from.’.
Mobble prides itself on its customer success, placing farmer’s needs at the forefront of what we do, and taking the time to seek out feedback - good or bad - to make our product the best it can be. No conversation is too hard, and all feedback is welcome.
We appreciate being recognised for this. Read Dwain’s post here.
We’ll be at Sheepvention Rural Expo in Hamilton, VIC on Sun 4 & Mon 5 August. Catch us at stand 15 in the Sheeptech section. Come and say hi!
