How to use Mobble for cropping records

At Mobble we aim to keep things simple and flexible. This flexibility means that in addition to livestock recording, Mobble can be used for basic crop records too. Here are some suggestions for how best to record your cropping activities: from sowing to sprays, operations, fertiliser applications, harvest records and end-of-season summaries.

If you're after comprehensive cropping software, Mobble integrates with Agworld to provide a whole-farm record keeping solution. More info on how the integration works here.

How to Add Cropping Records

Mobble has a Herbicides, Pesticides and Fertilisers inventory to store your paddock application products. There is also a Feed, Grain and Storage inventory which is great for storing seed and harvested grain. To add a product to these inventories:

  1. From the menu, select Inventories
  2. Select the relevant inventory
  3. Select the green plus button in the bottom right> Add inventory item
  4. Enter details then select Add to Inventory

To add a paddock action to one or multiple paddocks:

  1. Select a paddock from the paddocks page or map
  2. Select Add Paddock Action
  3. Select Paddocks dropdown and select the checkbox of any additional paddocks
  4. Select date and action type
  5. Select Add Product if required
  6. Record any additional info in Notes
  7. Select Apply Action

Histories and Summaries

Paddock Histories can be viewed by selecting a paddock, then selecting Paddock Info. On the web-app a list of all paddock actions for a paddock can be filtered, printed or exported to a spreadsheet.

A summary of all paddock actions for the property can be accessed via menu> summaries> Paddock actions. You can filter this history by action type, and print or export the list.
